At our workshops, we use the Water Jet cutting system. This cold cutting process ensures no deformation of the material, either physically or chemically, and allows for cutting a wide range of materials, including metals, plastics, composites, ceramics, and more.
The Active Tolerance Control system enables the production of highly intricate pieces, ensuring precision and the ability to create any shape.
At Acier Steel workshops, any material can be cut up to a thickness of 150 mm, minimizing waste and enabling every part to be reused in the process.
The raw material's integrity remains unaltered, with no chemical or structural changes or micro-cracks. Additionally, the process is clean, requiring no grease or oil.
The cutting speed is significantly faster than traditional water jet machines. It allows for rapid startup and eliminates the need for tool changes when cutting shapes, optimizing productivity.
These features contribute to substantial cost savings in production.
Unlike laser cutting, this technology works effectively on reflective materials, such as aluminum and copper, ensuring higher precision in curves and corners.
Among its cutting-edge equipment, Acier Steel offers the Lineatech Red “40” oxy-fuel and plasma cutting system, capable of working on iron, stainless steel, and aluminum sheets.
The machine’s well-dimensioned mechanical structure is designed to withstand high torsional stresses and support the dynamic weight of transverse carriages. Combined with state-of-the-art electronics, it delivers optimal dynamic performance, resulting in precise cuts, especially noticeable in pieces with sharp edges.
The gas distribution system is fully automatic, and a single torch can cut materials up to 250 mm thick.
Piercing thickness: Up to 32 mm on carbon steel.
Maximum cutting thickness (edge start): Up to 64 mm on carbon steel.
Transverse cutting range: 2,500 mm
Longitudinal cutting range: 12,000 mm
